360° Grenade-bombs The new 360° Grenade-bomb is a standard nozzle equipped with two offset nozzle insert rings, which can be fitted with round and flat jets. Combining these two technologies allows near-360-degree cleaning. It is possible to equip it with 12 to 18 inserts, depending on the water capacity. |

The different jet angles ensure optimum coordination between the traction and cleaning effects. The high efficiency is achieved using a sophisticated water guidance system. The nozzle is available in sizes from 1″ to 1 1/4″. Its area of application is in pipes from 120 to 400 mm (5″ to 16″). This nozzle is excellent for removing debris, gravel, and soft deposits. In addition, it is used for pre-cleaning with chain scrapers or milling inserts. More information... |

30.038 (N) For the 30.038 pipe cleaning nozzle, we are doing away with the protective countersink. We now use a ceramic screw-in nozzle. As a result, this very successful nozzle will be able to maneuver even better through tight pipe bends; that is to say, it will then be less likely to get caught on hot-plate welds. |

UR 17 In the last two newsletters, we introduced you to the UR10 and the UR13. Today, we are happy to present yet another member of the UR family: The UR17! There will be more to come.The enz® UR nozzles are used for radial cleaning of smaller pipes and lines, for example in heat exchangers. |

In the process, the enz® water-brake ensures a constant rotational speed. Pipes can be cleaned at up to 1,500 bar (22,000 psi). The jets, aligned at 90° or 45°, remove even the toughest deposits. Loctite adhesive In a nozzle, the adhesive is a particularly important factor. Therefore, when it comes to adhesives, enz® relies on the Loctite brand. Up to four different Loctite adhesives are used, depending on the nozzle. |

If nozzle inserts have been bonded in place, it is important that they are left to dry for 48 hours. Otherwise, they may be flushed out during use. More information... |

Hoses
A growing number of pipe cleaners are using water to clean in household applications. The big advantage of high-pressure water over mechanical cleaning is that there is much less pipe damage. |

It is important that the hoses have a very short fitting. The enz® product range has these hoses in 1/8″, 1/4″, and 5/16″ sizes (C173.C177-30). The inner diameters of the 1/4″ and 5/16″ differ by only 2 mm (6 mm vs. 8 mm ID), 12 mm vs. 14 mm OD), but the 5/16″ hose lets though a full 40 liters instead of 25 liters at 100 bar. The interchangeable nozzle set includes: a traditional 6-jet and 12-jet pull nozzle, a KBR nozzle for grease, the HRH nozzle for light deposits and hair roots, and the Rotopuls for limescale deposits. Live image, HP cleaning, visual documentation, and ability to bend all in a single product – this means that in future, even branched pipelines can not only be cleaned easily and professionally, but also inspected at the same time. |
