New products/innovations
IMC 3.XXX (14.300R, 14.350R)
When you’re milling, it’s important to work with recycled water. Following on from the already available 200 mm (8"), 225 mm (9"), and 250 mm (10") diameters, we are now adding the 300 mm (12") and 350 mm (14") diameters to our product range (IMC3XX). There’s no technology more efficient for straight pipes.
In a 350 mm (14") concrete pipe, we recently bumped up against rock-hard limescale deposits. We decided to attack them with an IMC 350 impact milling cutter using recycled water. In practically no time, and with almost no effort, the IMC 14.350 milled the pipe clear once again. » read more
New diamond teeth
The new diamond teeth from enz® have a longer service life and are more powerful thanks to their innovative design. This is achieved by raising the tooth profiles. In addition, the screw is secured with a Nord-Lock washer, ensuring it can’t work loose. » read more

MC28 (13.028)
With the MC28 (13.028), enz® has a very small and very short cutter that is just 28 mm (1.1") in diameter. The milling heads are equipped with milling plates and a pointed center. In addition to limescale, concrete, concrete sludge, and mineral deposits, this versatile tool is also perfect for handling roots and wood. The very narrow cutter can also be converted into a chain scraper (10.028).» read more
Field reports
Use and replacement of impact plates
Extreme caution is necessary when using impact milling cutters (14.XXX and 14.XXXR) in slightly damaged pipes. Washing out the cracks can cause pipe fragments to break off. Therefore, use a well-worn pair of cam plates (impact plates) to significantly reduce the impact. Alternatively, you can operate the cutter completely without impact. This will protect both the pipe and the tool. The cam plates (impact plates) must be replaced periodically.
What’s important to remember when milling, regardless of whether you’re milling with a cutting ball (CB family), without impact (ML family, 13.XXX), or with impact (IMC XXX), is that you first need to guide the tool into the pipe at 80 bar (1200 psi); then increase the pressure while working on the application to 100–120 bar (1400–1800 psi).
Maintenance
Maintaining the cutter
Because of the hard vibrations on the milling head, we recommend that the mounting screws of the cutting teeth or cage first be tightened after 5–10 minutes and then at two-hour intervals in order to prevent damage. This guarantees you efficient cleaning and prevents unnecessary resulting damage. An inadequately secured head can become loose due to the strong vibrations and damage the pipe.
JetCalc
JetCalc is now an app!
You can now use JetCalc as a mobile app with a new look but with the same proven range of functions – and there’s no installation necessary. The web app runs on all operating systems (Android and iOS).
This means that, in addition to using JetCalc on your computer, it is now possible to use it on your smartphone or tablet as well.
Trade fairs and events
Trade fairs and events
We look back on the Ecomondo, WJTA, and WWETT shows as three very successful trade fairs. We were able to have many interesting discussions, greet interested visitors, and win over new customers. We are proud that our products resonate so well. We thank you very sincerely for the interest you have shown, and we look forward to future collaboration!
