Newsletter August 2019 |
Hi In our last newsletter, we told you about our vibration nozzles. While doing so, we explained various things, such as that the enz® Rotopuls 34 nozzle is based on an eccentrically supported rotor, which produces very fast vibrations and pulsating jets. Today, we'd like to present our rope and chain scrapers to you. In this newsletter, you'll read about the new products and features we have to offer in this product range. But that's not all – you can find many videos showing enz® nozzles at work on our YouTube channel. Find out more about this below. Enjoy your reading! 1 In just one revolution – enz® wire rope and chain scrapers rip everything to bits!enz® wire rope and chain scrapers are tools that can be used anywhere and are very easy to operate and maintain. Several different pipe diameters can be cleaned with a single tool. They can be used to remove different deposits such as lime scale, cement slurry, roots, etc. cleanly and efficiently. Rope and chain scrapers are ideal for preparation work ahead of renovation with inliners, coatings, or injection grouting; for removing roots, incrustations, and deposits and for removing concrete residues in newly laid channel pipelines. 1.1 Chain scraper 10.200R / 300R / 200RSenz® has improved its much-loved 10.200R in a few areas while still keeping its strong points. One new feature is that this chain scraper now has an application range of up to 500 mm (20 inch) without any negative impact on the stability of the enz® cage. In addition, the plates have now been made harder, which is especially important for very hard deposits. The 10.300R is particularly well-suited for multi-stage root cutting. In addition, it is designed in such a way that it can be used for various pipe materials (in other words, different pipe qualities). The chain lengths are selected to ensure that the ends always scrape against the pipe wall. The only exception is if the work is to be performed in an ovoid profile. Slight to serious root penetration can be removed using the 10.200R standard setting. The 10.300R is an excellent choice for diameters of approximately 300 mm (12 inch) and upwards. It can take care of even the most extreme roots. When working on delicate pipes with large pipe offsets, we recommend that you use the 10.200RS so that there is no danger of the chain becoming jammed. 1.1.1 Skid 10.200KNew: The new universal skids can be adjusted in 25 mm (1 inch) increments and also provide the stability needed to remove roots and hard deposits effectively and efficiently. |
